The Best Robot Vacuum and Mop Combo

The Q Revo is a fantastic choice if you are looking for a robotic vacuum and mop that is priced in the middle. It offers a great mopping experience, but it lacks the features that make up its more expensive counterpart.

In the course of testing, it was able to take on dry oats and dust on carpets with medium piles and pet hair on hard flooring. It doesn't employ LIDAR however, as cheaper models do to identify your home.

iRobot Roomba s9+

The iRobot Roomba S9+ robot vacuum is among the best robot vacuum under 200-rated robots. It is loaded with features and impressive cleaning power, such as a dirt compartment that is built into the base of charging. The robot will learn your habits for cleaning and suggest automatic schedules that will give you the ultimate hands-free cleaning experience.

The setup process is simple thanks to the iRobot Home app that walks you through the process. Once the system is in place you can begin the automated cleaning with a single button press. You can select a general clean that prioritizes cleaning up larger debris like rice and cereal or go for two thorough mappings of your space to ensure your entire home gets a proper look.

This vacuum works well on floors that are unfinished and carpets with a low pile. It can remove pet hair and also suck big objects up. It doesn't lose suction as quickly as other robot vacuums. It's not the best robot mop for hardwood floors time with high-pile or plush carpet, however iRobot claims it will improve with the next models.

The S9+ features a new design from iRobot that is focused on enhancing edge and corner cleaning. It's the first Roomba that uses flat-fronted D-shaped designs. The company hopes this will allow it to be able to hug the furniture and walls. It's a significant improvement over hockey puck-shaped robovacs which are common however we found it to be only marginally better than circular models.

iRobot claims that the S9+ also comes with superior filtration which blocks tiny particles and allergens from circulating in your home. It's a nice claim, but we're not convinced it's enough to justify the high price tag.

Its smart navigation system uses sensors to remember the layout of your home and vSLAM to map the interior of your home. It then cleans your entire house efficiently by avoiding obstacles like stairs and other barriers. The iRobot Home App allows you to schedule cleaning times and set virtual boundary markers so that the robot knows the areas that require attention.

2. Roborock Q Revo

Roborock Q Revo is a machine that combines vacuuming and mopping. Its vacuum settings are as effective as those on more expensive models and its mopping system is superior, as its spinning pads do a better job of scrubbing your floors than a stationary vibration pad.

The only drawback is that it lacks an additional rubber brush to allow for deeper cleaning, but that's an acceptable price to pay if you are looking for one of the top robots on the market. The dust tank of the robo-vac is larger than many of its competitors, and filling it up takes only two or three times, even when you have maximum dirt.

In terms of the mopping device, I was awestruck by its ability to scrub off the tough dirt off my floors. The two mopping settings that it has that are less powerful than high-powered modes, produce very little noise, so you can work or watch television without being distracted. If it comes into contact with the wall or a piece of furniture it gently smacks into it before moving forward.

The Q Revo is unique in that it can run almost completely on its own, with no user involvement. The robo-vac has a multifunction dock that automatically moves physical trash into the bin hidden in the background and washes and dry the mop pads and refills its clean water tank. The app is good at notifying you when something needs attention, like the water tank that is running out of clean or a scheduled cleaning session that was cancelled due to a full dust bin.

You can also create and combine rooms to modify the way that Q Revo manages your home. This feature is beneficial when you have different flooring in different areas of your home or in the event that you have to regularly remove clutter, such as clothes, toys, and books. The robot vacuum was also one of the best performers in my test, picking up debris on both carpets as well as hardwood floors on the first go. It can even vacuum up wet spills. I suggest drying them with a towel before sending it into.

3. Ecovacs Deebot X2 Omni

The X2 Omni is a premium robot mop and vacuum that comes with all the features you could want. The robot is still large--it is more than two feet in height and depth and weighs nearly four pounds. However the robot and its base are smaller than the Roborock Q Revo or iRobot J7.

This version is more efficient than the X1 as it charges faster and can clean up 1,500 square feet in a single charge. And it has a larger dustbin that is more durable to hold more debris which makes it easier to empty when needed.

The X2 Omni also has a more intuitive voice assistant and an app that can be used even if you are not at home. It also has a smart routing feature that allows it to clean specific rooms or areas of your home, instead of following a predetermined route.

The X2 Omni has the top mopping performance of any robot we've tested, due to its mop pads that rotate to scrub away tough stains and a motor that creates plenty of downward pressure. Its vacuuming performance is outstanding, and it also increases suction when it senses carpets to ensure thorough cleaning. It also has a massive battery that can last for weeks between charges and its mopping mode is as efficient as the ones we've seen on a consumer-grade robot.

4. Dreametech L10s Ultra

The Dreametech L10s Ultra is a premium robot vacuum and mop that comes with a host of convenience features that you aren't likely to find on robots in this price range. It is able to create precise floor maps and recognize various flooring types. It's also among the few robots that can automatically clean and dry its mop pad. These features are nice however they can push the L10s into the premium category. This might make it more expensive than homeowners need.

It is designed to resemble a modern floor cleaner, the L10s Ultra is a tall and slim device that has an elegant white finish enhanced by mirror plating and silver elements. The front of the machine features an enormous bumper that shields the furniture and vacuum cleaner while moving around your home. Behind the pane at the front is an additional navigation technology in the form of sensors that help the L10s Ultra maneuver tight corners and avoid obstacles.

On the top of the vacuum there is a single button that is used as an on/off switch. The button will activate the vacuum. By pressing it again, you can shut it off and send it back to its base station. The central control panel has the circular menu which lets you choose cleaning modes, schedules, and preferences. The left and right buttons allow you to access the settings in the app, where you can alter the way the L10s Ultra interacts with your home.

Like the iRobot Roomba S9+ and Roborock Q Revo, the L10s Ultra uses a combination of LIDAR and camera-based navigation technologies to map out your house. This produces a precise floor plan that enables the robot vacuum and mop efficiently without getting stuck in areas with clutter. The LIDAR also assists the robot vacuum detect and avoid obstacles and obstacles, which is a wonderful feature for families with children or pets.

The L10s Ultra is an efficient vacuum cleaner that removes 98.4 percent of the debris we test on hardwood floors and getting rid of all but the most stubborn juice stains.
